Pu Erh tea is a form of black tea which undergoes a special fermentation process – usually for 30 to 40 days, although sometimes for years or even decades – which gives it a unique flavor and some potential health benefits not present in other forms of tea. Pu Erh originates from the Yunnan province in China and has been prized for its health benefits for over 2,000 years. Pu Erh is rich in flavoring which is particularly beneficial in fighting against infection and maintaining capillary walls in the human circulatory system. Pu Erh has been introduced to the West primarily due to its reputed weight loss benefits – stimulating the metabolism and making the body burn fat and calories more efficiently resulting in weight loss through regular consumption.

Directions

Put the tea into a pot, and pour into boiling water on the proportion of tea to water as 1:30, then poer out the soup into cups for serving after 1-2 mintues. It can be served repeatedly for 3-5 times. By all means avoid a long time infusion.
