Japanese curry is immensely popular in Japan and the west due to the growth of Japanese eateries. The curry can be made almost instantly, and comes in a variety of spicy strengths. Simply cook your chosen meat, vegetables usually carrots, onion, mushrooms and potato then stir in the instant curry blocks. Within minutes your boiling water will have thickened to create a delicious deep brown curry sauce. Great with katsu cutlets such as chicken and pork. One whole packet of 10 curry blocks will serve up to 10 people. Not suitable for vegetarians.

Ingredients

Curry powder, potato, sweet potato, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, spices, Worcestershire sauce and soybean.

Directions

Boil water in a pan. Add vegetables such as potato or carrot and meat. Break up curry cubes and add 1 cube per person. Stir well and then serve.
